Who we are

Bento Maths is run by Ahamad Chowdhury, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: ahamadc@outlook.com.

Using the site

The practice questions require no account and collect no personal data. We set no cookies and use no analytics or tracking. Our server briefly counts requests per IP address in memory to prevent automated abuse; this is not stored or logged, and rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

The tutoring enquiry form

If you send an enquiry we collect the parent or guardian's name and email address, the subjects selected, and anything written in the message box. We do not ask for the student's name, school or date of birth.

We use this only to pass your enquiry to the tutoring provider so they can reply. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to an enquiry you chose to send. Providing the information is optional, but without it we cannot pass on your enquiry. We will not use it for marketing without your consent.

Your enquiry is sent to Mind Forge Academy Ltd., who become responsible for it under their own privacy notice at mindforgeac.co.uk/privacy-notice. It reaches them through our email and hosting providers, who may process data outside the UK under the safeguards those providers have in place. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

Enquiries are sent by email and are not stored in any database. We keep them only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, then delete them.

Children

Under-18s can use the practice questions, which is why that part of the site collects nothing at all. The enquiry form is for parents and guardians aged 18 or over. If an enquiry appears to come from someone under 18, we will ask for a parent or guardian's details before going further and delete the original.

Automated decisions

We carry out no automated decision-making or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your personal data, or to correct, delete, restrict or transfer it, and you may object to our use of it or withdraw any consent given. Email ahamadc@outlook.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
